Obsession and Bad Behavior
Obsessions often lead to bad behavior. Why? When a person becomes obsessed with an individual or a problem, they tend to behave badly because they cannot tolerate the frustration of constantly dealing with the tension, emotions, and anxiety that simmers inside themselves. Therefore, they seek to discharge the tension or frustration in acts (stalking, texting, calling, hitting, screaming, pursuing) that turn out to be very bad moves. When they do these behaviors, they hope that the texting, calling, etc. will calm them down, but it never does. They never really obtain the result that they sought.
Object of Obsession is a mystery novel about a
psychologist”s search for the killer of a college sports star.
