Intelligent People Are More Trusting
I always like reading new studies, but sometimes I wonder what motivates the interviewer. Here’s one that I never would have thought to ask. A new US public opinion poll says that intelligent people are generally more trusting. Why? The authors hypothesize that intelligent people are better judges of character. They believe that being a good judge of character is a part of human intelligence that evolved through natural selection. Hmmm, makes sense – trust the wrong critters and you are their lunch.

They have better physical health
They are happier
They are more likely to start a business
