Guilt feels so awful; it’s difficult to imagine the advantages. But, a recent study showed that guilt-prone people have some distinct advantages – in the workplace. We can’t say for sure that it holds outside work. Here are the advantages of guilt.
1. Guilt-prone people demonstrate more leadership.
2. They have high ethics.
3. They don’t take advantage of other people’s skill.
4. They work hard and contribute to the team effort.
5. They are concerned about the impact of their actions on others.
